Today the weather is pretty awful again. Saw the coldness and wetness out of the windows while waking up and immediatly knew that would be a hard one again. I really wanted to hike out witj Chacqueline but I have no chance keeping up with her in this condition.
I give my best to reach Brienz and Interlaken from there so I can go to the Hospital. I'm afraid they'll tell me I had to stop and go home. That would make me so dissapointed :(
The weather does its best to make me even sader and my foot isn't in its best condition for sure. BUT I saw a huge ass wooden cow! That made me really happy for a while ♥️
Yesterday I lost my guidebook AND my Tripod thingy that helps with Photos. I did find my book again by going back but no chance to know where I might've lost the Tripod. It bothers me because it was a handy thing to have and now its probably just trash. I try to get another one in Interlaken - since there are more asians than houses I'd be very surprised if they wouldn't sell a million different sticks.
Now I'm waiting here in the emergency center. Had to explain the whole Camino thing yet AGAIN... it's so funny to see peoples resction to it. Must seem very exotic. I took the Ship because I couldn't risk hurting my foot. An amazing irish Guy named Alias who looked like an old wise Wizard payed for my tickets and trough the whole ride he told me all about Crypto currencies and AI and Witches and why the scottish are ribbish and many things more 😬. Then we listened to metal songs by Sir Christopher Lee and had an overall blast even tough the weather was dreadful and cold.
He even helped me to the Hospital.
Later my old Friend Alex will come over as we plan to walk together for a couple of days. I hope intil then I will have a disgnosis and even more important a solution!
YES!!! Toe is healing remarkibly well and the muscle pain stems from me walking funny. A bit of liniment and a couple of Ibuprophen and I'm good as new 🎇🩺❤️🎶🎭🏆
While waiting for Alex I checked out some of the many, many, many Souvenierstores in the main street Interlaken. I love those because I always wonder who would possibly want this crap at home!
The funniest thing about this stuff is how most of it isn't related to Switzerland at all! Like these Cockoo clocks. Never were they ever part of Switzerland!
Or even worse: Lederhosen! Sure, lets just mix all the german speaking countries together, shall we? Is that really the best we can come up with? Not even local stuff but cheap knockoffs from clichéed clothes from other Countries?!?
Aren't those supposed to be memories? But these crap has nothing to do with ANYTHING here. So its not a Memory about anything real but something sonebody thought something once WAS a long time ago. What's the point even buying it then? Do the Chinese take these Lederhosen home and tell People that's what we wear?
And then the Matterhorn on everything even tough we are not even near the darn thing! Wouldn't you want to put Interlaken on it at least? But I probably should be grateful it does depict something that really exist in this Country...
Other than that we seemingly have every single chinese in existence here in Interlaken. They love to make Fotos of everything including myself. And I keep wondering if they will ever look at them again. But I'm guilty of that myself so I don't want to jump on the high horse here.
One chinese saleswoman in a shop asked me if I'm Willhelm Tell and I think she was a bit dissapointed that I'm not.
I picked up Alex and we went to Hooters for Dinner. The Burgers were good but the appearances of the waitresses suggested to us by the Owl in the Logo were slightly underwhelming in regards to the general aera surrounding the bosom.
To balance out our primitive choice of location Alex insisted to have a last drink in the world renaunced five-star grand hotel Victoria. I was still unshowered and in my robe may I remind you. But Alex taught me that appearance doesn't count in this sort of establishment as long as one acts appropriatly. So I pretended to be rich and excentric and none of the staff even made the slightest face.
The drinks were wonderful altough horrendously expensive. I learned a valuable lesson tough and had an excuisite time.
My day faded out by washing my clothes together with myself in the shower with stolen Shampoo because everything needs to be in balance. I now hope to be able to sleep next to the various animalistic sounds Alex produces while sleeping...
Thumbs up to your legs being not catastrophically fucked up but just normally so.
Also Sir Christopher Lee might have been the coolest human to have walked the earth. Did spy shit in WW2 and allegedly inspired Ian Fleming (his cousin) to write James Bond about him, became a filmstar where he starred in some of the most iconic roles and IPs of all time and then, in like 2005 aged 83 he decided to sing on Rhapsody's 3rd single and later release his own metal albums.
